Our Origins: A Vision Rooted in Compassion
A Jeannie’s Vision Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2019 by Susuana Hammond, a woman whose passion for healing and empowerment was born through lived experience. While working as the resident beautician at a State Hospital, Susuana saw firsthand the emotional toll that low self-worth, depression, and trauma had on individuals—particularly youth and adults facing mental health challenges.
From Hairstylist to Healer: A Mission is Born
While providing hair services to patients in both the Children and Adult Divisions, Susuana discovered something powerful:
Small acts of care—like hairstyling, a kind word, or a moment of attention—could spark confidence and restore dignity.
Her chair became a place of transformation. Beyond haircuts, she offered emotional support, affirmations, and love. She introduced therapeutic activities for children and cultivated genuine relationships that uplifted spirits and inspired hope.
The Power of Encouragement: A Community Responds
The positive impact was undeniable. Hundreds of individuals expressed how Susuana’s presence and support changed their outlook on life. Her simple, heartfelt efforts; rooted in affirmation, personal empowerment, and emotional wellness, ignited something much greater.

Event Coordinator
Kim Lawrence is the owner of Kimmie Kakes, where she brings Southern tradition to life through her handcrafted baked goods and signature creations. Known for her warm spirit and dedication to her craft, Kim has built a reputation for delivering desserts that feel like home.
Beyond her business, Kim serves as an Event Coordinator and a devoted team member of Jeannie’s Vision Foundation. She generously donates her time and talent to ensure the organization’s events are executed smoothly, on schedule, and with exceptional quality. Her commitment to service and excellence makes her an invaluable part of every project she touches.
Shoshanna Patterson
Event Coordinator
Shoshanna Patterson is the owner of Recherche Rose LLC, a creative studio that offers engaging, hands-on experiences for both children and adults, including soap-making, candle design, and custom oil creation. Shoshanna serves as a dedicated Events Coordinator and valued contributor to A Jeannie’s Vision Foundation, Inc.
Since joining the organization in 2023, she has generously shared her time, creativity, and leadership to ensure events are thoughtfully planned, well-executed, and impactful. Shoshanna’s professionalism, commitment to service, and collaborative spirit make her an indispensable member of the team.
Enoch Hammond
Co-Founder – Ghana Division
Enoch Hammond is the Co-Founder of A Jeannie’s Vision Foundation, Inc. – Ghana Division, where he leads the organization’s on-the-ground outreach efforts with dedication and compassion. He visits orphanages and underserved schools to assess their needs firsthand, ensuring children receive essential support — including school supplies, food items, and clothing.

Through our ongoing initiatives and under Enoch’s strong leadership, we aim to provide education, strengthen mental well-being for both parents and children, and deliver essential services that empower young people to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Head of Media Production
Jonas Black of Jonas Black Photography serves as the Head of Media Production for A Jeannie’s Vision Foundation, Inc., where he plays a key role in shaping and elevating the organization’s visual presence. Through his creative approach to photography and videography, Jonas ensures that every media platform authentically reflects the mission, impact, and goals of A Jeannie’s Vision.
A committed team member since the foundation’s inception, he uses his artistry to showcase the organization’s work and capture the joy and hope within the communities it serves. Jonas’s passion for photography fuels his philanthropy, deepening his dedication to uplifting youth and supporting the foundation’s growing vision.
